Politics, Economy & Management in Southeast Asia
International Summer School 2007

The University of Linz, the Thammasat University, and the Austrian Association of East Asian Studies are organizing a joint international and academic summer school in Thailand.

Time and place: 25 August - 21 September 2007, Thammasat University, Bangkok

Objective: to provide the participants with a basic understanding of political, cultural and economic structures in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Regarding the economic prospects in the region, a practical focus will be set on business opportunities and business environment.

Lectures are held at Thammasat University, the working language is English. The program comprises a three-week course (Monday through Friday, six units a day, totaling 90 units) and a scheduled trip to historic sites in week 4.

Qualification requirements:
Students at universities (both graduate and undergraduate), universities of applied sciences and various educational institutions as well as employees with international companies; proficient knowledge of English
